About Kevin Lau
Kevin, the founder of Wellbeing Physiotherapy and father of two, has been spending a life long journey perfecting the art of physiotherapy.
Kevin has worked continuously in the public sector for almost 20 years. He has also taken teaching roles as lecturer and tutor in Physiotherapy in local universities in Western Australia, and regularly supervises physiotherapy students in their clinical placements.
As a physiotherapist with over 25 years of experience, Kevin has developed extensive experience and strategies in solving people’s problems relating to musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, neurological and cardiorespiratory issues. People enjoy Kevin’s holistic approach which he adopts in communicating and working collaboratively with his clients.
He provides support and promotes better lifestyle changes to maximise quality of life to achieve best possible outcomes to restore health and wellbeing. Dry needling, clinical Pilates, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), manual handling (Manutention) are among other additional trainings Kevin has completed.
Body mind balance, Tai Chi and jaw pain management are other passions that Kevin brings to Wellbeing Physiotherapy. Kevin also dedicates each week working with the Homeless Healthcare team to provide Physiotherapy treatment to people who are homeless and disadvantaged.
