Remedial Massage

Remedial massage can help to reduce pain, discomfort and tension by releasing the pressure on muscles, tendons and ligaments and assist the body’s natural healing process. The pressure applied in remedial massage can either be strong and deep or gentle and shallow, depending on the problem.

Who can benefit from remedial massage?

Anyone who experiences pain or tension in the muscles, which is stress, work, pregnancy, leisure or sports related, remedial massage can be beneficial.

What does a remedial massage involve?

We offer 60 minutes, 90 minutes and 45 minutes of remedial massage appointments. Before the massage begins, you will be asked to lie on a massage table and you will be covered with towels to protect your privacy and to keep you warm. You are encouraged to provide feedback to your remedial massage therapist about how much pressure and depth of the massage you prefer.

What are the benefits of remedial massage?

Remedial massage can stimulate blood flow, help loosen up joints, and assist tissue healing process.   It can also reduce stress, improve mood and mental health.
